Intelligent Laser System: CHEETAH
Description:
The TEC 30 Cheetah Series Laser is high
performance temperature stabilized laser system. Available wavelength range
from 375nm .. 440nm and from 635nm .. 2800nm. The temperature stabilization of
the diode laser results in an highly stable output power with variations
below 0.1%. High frequency modulation is available via the integrated
bias-tee.
Layout:
We have designed
our TEC 30 Cheetah Laser system for best performance of diode lasers. The output
power is stabilized via a monitor diode and PID regulation of the laser driver.
Since the temperature of the laser system is stabilized in the order of
1mK, variations of the output power can be specified to be below 0.1% of
the output power. Due to our experience with external cavity diode
lasers, our Cheetah Laser system offers a nearly diffraction
limited beam quality with M2 values below 2. Custromer specific requests as
specifications on beam diameter, defined focus are honored with each laser
system.
Intelligent Laser Controller:
The intelligent, low noise
PilotPC laser controller changes the laser system from just a laser system to an
automated measuring tool. All functions can be operated via GPIB, USB, or
RS232.
Laser Exchange:
Our Cheetah
Laser system is designed for an easy exchange of laser diodes as it is requested
for laboratory operations. For exchanging the laser diode, the collimation lens
can be removed. The TEC-030 is prepared for accepting laser diodes within a 9mm
TO can as well as within a 5.6mm TO can. After the exchange, the laser beam can
be collimated just by rotating the collimation lens holder.
High Frequency Current
Modulation:
Several applications require a fast high frequency
current modulation. We offer a standard bias-tee with modulation frequencies up
to 500MHz.
