Intelligent Laser Diode Controller
Description:
The Pilot OEM is an industrial grade, highly precise, low
noise, microprocessor operated controller for laser diodes, especially designed
for rough enviroments. The laser current or the optical output power and
the temperature of the connected laser diode can be precisely regulated. For
automated control a RS232 computer interface allows remote programming and
readout from most computers. Several security concepts are implemented: Slow
Start, Interlock, Compliance Voltage Protection, Passive Polarity Protection by
separated current lines.
Security Features:
The
Pilot OEM incorporates proven laser protection features, including
exclusive clamping current limits, output shorting circuits and slow-start
turn-on. In addition, power-line transients are suppressed by AC line
filters.
OEM Features:
The
Pilot OEM is designed for OEM applications which require an intelligent
laser controller. After the programming, it can be operated just by standard TTL
signals within complex industrial grade systems.
External Power Supply:
The Pilot OEM is supplied with an external power supply.
Acceptable line voltages are 230V/50Hz and 115V/60Hz.
