Description: The TEC 200
External Cavity Diode Laser in Littrow configuration is designed for high output
power up to 1500mW with moderate linewidth in the order of 10GHz.
Target application is Raman Spectroscopy. Please check our downloadable
data sheets.

Layout: We have designed
our TEC 200 Power Littrow Laser according to the basic principles of the Littrow
cavity concept. The laser system consists of a diode laser, collimating
optics and a diffraction grating. The laser light is collimated and coupled to
the diffraction grating. The first order diffraction beam is directed back into
the laser chip. The light emitted from the rear facet is coupled is coupled into
an opitcal fiber. One of the major advantages of this laser design is that it is
possible to achieve much higher output power than with other types of laser
systems. 
Benefit of AR-Coated diode lasers,
System Performance: Our anti-reflection coated diode lasers give the
laser system the performance of a turnkey system. There is no longer
the need for a long term search of the current and temperature values of
the operating point. 
High Output Power: Our
external cavity power Littrow laser system is especially designed for achieving
the highest possible output power. The power values range between 100mW @ 633nm,
1000mW @ 785nm and up to 1500mW @ 980nm.
Application Example - Raman
Spectroscopy: Raman Spectroscopy is a detection method for long
chained molecules which are difficult to identify by absorption spectroscopy.
Raman Spectroscopy requires high output power and a good side mode suppression.
Both features are fulfilled by our TEC 200 Power Littrow laser system in an
excellent way.
