Identification via Raman Spectroscopy
Optical detection of Gasoline via Absorption
Spectroscopy is very difficult due to weak absorption of the gasoline
molecules. Furthermore, it is very difficult to distinguish between
different types of gasolie via Absorption Spectroscopy. A more suitable
detation method is Raman Spectroscopy.

The graphic shows a Raman Spectrum of Gasoline.
Different types of Gasolines can be directly identfied by the value of
the Raman shirt of the signal. Optical detection is very powerful
since the measurement can be ´performed over distances without the need for any
direct contact with Gasoline. For more information, please contact us.
