CLEO Technology Playground

A saturated Rubidium Setup pumped with the new superstable LYNX S3 was available to the public for a playing experience of  the physics of the Rubidium D2 transition and its hyperfine lines. Visitors enjoyed the life demonstration, being able to expand all details as well as being able to lock the laser system to the hyperfine transitions on show, just as they are used within their lab.
